Meagan Anderson, OD

Optometrist

Hello! My name is Dr. Meagan Anderson, and I am an optometrist at Modern Vision Solutions. I grew up in the Omaha area and am excited to be back to provide vision care to the people here! I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha and went on to receive my optometry degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry.

Before optometry school, I developed a special interest in technology in eye care and refractive surgery. This developed further during my time in school, and led me to pursue a refractive surgery residency after graduation at Kugler Vision in Omaha, NE. My specialties in eye care include refractive surgery, specialty contact lenses, and myopia management.

At Modern Vision Solutions I get to be part of something different. We are able to change lives and educate our patients in a way that they’ve likely never experienced before. You will notice that we utilize the most up to date and advanced technology available in eye care, and this is something I am extremely passionate about. Sara Petska, OD

Optometrist

Hi, everyone! I’m Dr. Sara Petska, an experienced optometrist now accepting new patients at Modern Vision Solutions. I am thrilled to be joining a growing practice that delivers innovative solutions to your everyday (and complex) vision problems. I am accepting patients ages three and up and I can’t wait to provide you and your family with the comprehensive eye care you need.

I am originally from Grand Island, Nebraska and earned my bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. After falling in love with optometry while working in an optical throughout college, I attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. I graduated summa cum laude from optometry school in 2017 following the completion of rigorous clinical externships at renowned ophthalmology and optometry practices in the Kansas City area. I have practiced optometry in a variety of different office settings and communities over the last several years which has allowed me to gain experience in many areas of my field.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and two rescue dogs. I am married to a fellow optometrist and we have a young son that keeps us on our toes! You can usually find me working on home improvement projects, listening to true crime podcasts, or chasing my active toddler around the park. Being a working mother is the greatest joy of my life.

Joseph Farrington

Optical Manager

I’ve worked in the Optometry field for around 12 years in all facets – from sales to lab production to my most recent position as manager at Modern Vision Solutions. What I most enjoy about working at Modern Vision Solutions is the dedication to patient experience and education, it sets us apart from the companies emphasize the bottom line rather than the patient’s experience and their results.
